At the end of the Tenancy we meet the Tenant at the property. We test and summarise the keys; record the utility meter readings and the Tenant’s forwarding address. We carry out a line-by-line inspection of the property and compare its condition with the details in the Inventory. Taking into account fair wear & tear during the Tenancy, we document any items that are damaged, missing or inadequately cleaned and summarise our findings in a Check-out Report. This Report is the basis for agreeing any deductions from the Tenant’s deposit.
